Exporting goods as a middle-man
Post 1 of 6
Hi all,

I am a sourcing agent or a middle-man for the manufacturer and the buyer.

So the question is, shall I just let the manufacturer to ship the consignment to my client directly or I should do it myself??

Please advise..

Thanks.

If you are a middleman. Are you working for a single buyer with many suppliers. For sinlge supplier with many buyers. In any case you might have a agreement .

It depends on the capbility of the manufacturer. If the manufacturer is very experience on shippment duty, then why not let the manfacutrer to handle it. If the manufacturer is not very experience, then for your safe, doing it yourself is securer.

I am dealing with the product with many manufacturers. I think there are also many buyers too. Will it be risky if the manufacturer will go direct one day if they have the contact details?

It all depends on the factory you are dealing with ,some of them will steal your customer as soon as they got the full details.some do not care, but to be on a safe side ,i suggest you make the comany use your name or company as the shipper and all your customers info will remain with you for security reasons.
