It's not easy to check up on someone in Togo, and the scammers use thousands of different names and change them on a daily basis. If you can post what he offered you, it might be easier to assist.

Normally, what the scammers do is make a huge offer, and say they will pay 100% up front by T/T. Then they will invent or impersonate some organisation or bank that starts asking for advance fees. If you pay them they will keep asking for more.
