Trust Pass and Gold Supplier do not always mean I can trust a supplier to give me the right product or do the right thing when they send me the wrong product. I purchased what I thought were Nokia n95 phones from two different Chinese suppliers. When both phones arrived I was disappointed to find both were copies! The one company in Putian refused to give my money back. Instead they would send an iphone in its place. So, I returned the phone to them. Before they send the phone, I find out their iphone won't work in the US. I tell them and they refuse to return my money. So, they have my money and the phone!! The other company told me to simply return the phone and they'd refund my money via paypal. I returned the phone and haven't heard from them in 2 weeks! Fool me twice, shame on me. [em6]

Replying to [Adden]: In China? Your not going to find them.

In the forum search place " N95" and you will find numerous results and maybe some real suppliers but most of all you will find the stories of those like you that tried to buy Branded Cell Phones in China.

Do you know the Cell Phone Trading capital of the World? Its not the U.S. Nor is it China its in between.

Dear.

I suggest you that when you want to trade with any supplier then you firstly contact with her country's chamber of commerce and you also take information from your country's COC. They will give you the information.

If your deal is bigger then you must take D&B Report from your banker.

This report really help you in every matter.

This D&B Report is an confidential report between supplier's bank and buyer's bank. I provide you website www.dnb.com which really help in small service charge.

We also get advantage of this when we deal with chinese buyers.

We are supplier of jute bags from indiA.

Adden -  A lesson learned, unfortunately twice. It appears that it is all behind you now and that there is no reason to be ashamed. While there is no formula that can pin point you to a specific supplier checking some basic information on the company through trade associations, obtaining references (three) if possible and checking each of them and asking them to provide you with information about the company and including whether the product that they are selling violates intellectual property laws and so forth can indicate whether the supplier is one you would like to do business or not.  Remember this might not happen in a short period of time and that you have to be patient to find out the information need.

Replying to [Adden]:If you want to continue trading with any suppliers in CHina you should first contact with their country's chamber of commerce and also take information from your country's COC. Also know that CHina is the biggest copy country in the world and be advised that 99% of all things coming from there are copies! I think everyone has been scamed in one way or another in China so its best to do all business on your terms and your terms only that is the only way to stop this from happpening!
