(1) Some manufactures are designing ,making and marketing in their country and also abroad.They always have their own design,catlogue and stock.
(2)Some manufactures start designing, go for sourceing fabrics and accessories and making apparels as per the requirement of the buyers. They do the brand name for others
Of the above two, Which is the best business policy?

Replying to [curdrice]:Each have its own pros and cons, and it is purely depends on manufacturer position to select the best alternative.
i.e. in first manufacturer has his own brand, margin of profit and and the same time selling & administrative expenses is there. although some times selling may be a tough task i.e. sourcing buyers fro all over the worlds and hence they go for the second option manufacturing under others brand name, in this case they are not bothered for the sale they will get continuous business and engaged in manufacturing as the designs are also selected by the agent / buyer and they can concentrate on manufacturing only with continuous earning.![[em1]](http://img.alibaba.com/images/eng/style/icon/emoticons_smile.gif)

Replying to [curdrice]:Dear Curdrice, It is better to have your own design and catalogue under your brand .You have the freedom to sell where you get good price and you can expnd your markets as more funds become available.You can exploit any new trend .
If you are only supplier to other brand, you risk of loosing business whenever buyer gets better pricing or other options

Replying to [curdrice]:I agree with you,it is better to have own brand ,then it will not insteaded by other company .but unfortue,we are not have our own brand but produce for others.

I believe both the ways are really exciting. When we are making samples as per our own designs and specifications. We have to have the current report of the International trends and fashions.
We have to be upto date with the color forecast colors, Style, prints, effects, etc.
The garments must be appealing and must attract the customers. Here we are creating a demand.
While manufacturing as per buyers styles and specifications is also exciting where we have to source whatever is the requirement. Sourcing someting and getting the same stuff is also very delicate when one mistake can totally destroy an order.
Here the buyers teach us the trends, colors, fashions, styles, etc.
Here we are developing as per demand already created.
