I'vegot a problem now .

After the sample approval , I got an order . The payment for the order is TT ,and we promised we will start productin as soon as we get 30% depoist in advance . While our first client emailed to me that
he couldn't TT us for now is holiday season , the payment will go into our **** next week , however, he asked me to start production immediately . So what should we do ? Shall we start now or just wait for the TT then start ?

Do you think it is wise to go ahead?
What the buyer says about the holiday might be true. But you have to consider it wisely. Consider these "Wh" Questions

What if he is trying to pull a fast one on you?[em4]
What will you do if the money don't come in? [em4]
What will you do if he says; don't worry I have gone to the bank and the money will be there?[em3]
What will you do if he keeps giving you excuses?[em6]
What will you do with the products if you do not received the payment? [em10][em10][em10]

He will probably come back and squeezed every ounze of your blood
knowing you have finished productions.[em8][em8][em8][em8]

Simple business fact; NO MONEY NO DEAL. - NO MONEY NO TALK[em2][em2][em2][em2][em2]

I will keep communicating with him and start production right after
receiving the fund .

If the product is inexpensive and/or from your factories range then why not start to make the sample now. In the worst case scenario the customer will never send you the money so you never need to send him the sample - you can then send it to someone else in the future. If the customer is legit though then you will have impressed him or her by your quick work.

If however the product is a special order then you best wait for the cash first.

You can not afford if the customer don't need the goods at last. Explain to your customer about your situation, he will understand.
You can not start production before receipt of the deposit.

Replying to [meggieye]:i am in the same situation . I can understand it very well, please wait untill the holidays and after that just call the buyer and tell him as you receives the deposit of 30% you can start the production and finish it within the time. If he is a serious buyer we will get the deposit and in worst case he will not send the deposit , but you will not lose a geniun buyer in any of the case,

BEST OF LUCK TO BOTH OF US.
