Quoting from [Susonlu]:
1. to be honest. i think a good supplier tell the true to the our customer so important. then the buyer can make the correct decision.
2. to be sincerely. i think supply our customer the good quality with competitive. can make the long-term relationship. to be partner or friend is ok.
3. to have the responsibility on our customer' s behalf.
4. to bring the win-win future for both company so important too.
Suson you seem to be on the right track here - at least from my foreigner perspective!
I particularly like your point number 1. So many Chinese suppliers fail to be open about problems and points of view. This leads to misunderstandings which in turn lead to claims and loss of business. Everyone makes mistakes and everyone misunderstands things sometimes - but as a supplier if you see something is not right then you should tell the customer up front. Most legitimiate customers will appreciate this information and it will help you get credibility for problems that are found later on.
