Replying to [yufang]: It's a great difficult problem. I think the best way are according to your business concept. Firstly, to advertised only for promoting brand. Then, to advertised for promoting the products.

Replying to [yufang]: If you have selected a medium for your advertising then, you must have some kind of organizational marketing and sales plan that defines what your companies goals are at significant periods of time.

Therefore based on that plan and management projections you will have established.

1. Inquiries leading to order fulfillment
2. Sales Goal
3. Sales Growth

If the medium you have selected to promote your company and its products meets those criteria you have selected an excellent medium. Its a fact that no matter what medium you choose it must produce results of point 1. before you can ever reach item 2 or 3.

After deciding a message the next possible step is to evaluate and choose and an advertising medium. the medium will depend on whether the product is to be demonstrated, visualized or explained . I think you should look at the following:

Target audience - understand your market segment for example, often radio and TV are usually effective to reach say teenagers if that is your target market.

Product Characteristics - some product are appropriate for TV or Internet advertising, especially if you need to demonstrate how to operate for example, cameras.

Message Characteristics - have to do with timeliness and information content. Product that is to be sold within a short period of time (sale) newspaper or radio or TV advertisement will be practical. For products with technical data specialized magazines might be appropriate.

Cost- Figure out what it will cost say per1000 or 100,000 exposures. Newspaper and Internet advertising relatively less expensive to that of TV advertising.
