Now I am working for one company, my boss is so trick and always yells to me. One time I just don’t know the inch calculating to mm, you know what he yells to me: he said: you haven’t in high school for study and directly to go to university And then laugh at me. Except this, he always said I know nothing, and don’t know the rule (I don’t know what the rule he means). When you are facing this problem what should you do? You will still staying at that Company or quit your job?

I need your help, as all you know now is not so far from new years. Am I need to quit my job or not?

allways carry a retractablew tape measre that has centimeter on one side and inches on the other, your boss is a egotist and a bully, but if he is paying you enough to take his then take it and laugh it off, it is just a childs game he is p[laying because he is a immature child.

Replying to [luckydaisy]:Hello Daisy, I´m really sorry to hear that your boss is beening difficult. I´m sure we all at some point in time had a bad boss. How ever even a negative experience as this can have a positive out come. I would suggest you take the following steps to help you decide what to do about your job.

1) Try to find out if your boss is only treating you this way. If your boss treats every person this way, I would suggest you look for another job, but don´t quit this one until you have another one to go to. If he is only treating you this way then take the following actions.

2) Ask to have a meeting with your boss. Ask what it is that you can do to improve your job performance. Ask about the rule. If he is a reasonable person he will take this seriously and speak with you.

3) Ask for more training and show your boss that your are willing to learn. this will usually change the attitude of any angry boss.

4) The formula for conversions can easily be found on the internet. I would suggest that you take the time to learn these. You can also find a calculator that can do the conversions at a low cost. There are also small inexpensive tape measures that are available that have inches and mm. All these suggestions will help you improve your job performance.

5) Finally if none of the suggestions above work then start to look for another job. Please be sure not to say anything negative about your boss to the new company. That is very unprofessional and no good company will want to hire you for fear of what you will say about them!

Well I hope I was able to help you out.
Best of luck

I would have said exactly the same thing. The boss is there (as a boss) because he ROSE to that position. He must have something positive going for him.

When you say that he is *unreasonable*, that is YOUR view. Have you wondered if you could be wrong too? Or, you are making mistakes far too often for the boss's liking (you DID give one example, didn't you?). What is the boss's view about you and your performance? We don't know that yet!

This needs more info, and more study, for a solution to emerge.

If you are a graduate from a university then all bosses has a certain expectation on you. You gave one example that you do not know a conversion from inches to mm, if I am your boss I cannot accept that too, your boss gave you a computer didn’t him ? Just search on the internet and you’ll find the answer immediately. Before you ask anything check first, never ask silly questions as you are a graduate. If you keep doing so, what is the benefit of employing you than employing those who do have a degree?

Never tell your boss a problem without a solution, every time when you have a problem think of a solution by yourself, then ask your boss if your solution is good enough. Always remember this, where ever you work.

If your attitude on pro-activeness doesn’t change don’t think about quitting or changing job, you’ll face the same problem every where you go, unless you work for your parents.

Replying to [luckydaisy]:I don`t agree with that somebody ask you to quit. Please change position to thinking, you are graduating from the high school, you must have the ability to know how to change inch to mm. Maybe you wiil say the teacher can not teach me.Ok teacher can not teach this to you.Why you don`t know how to find out the result.you can ask your friend or fing on net.you are a adult not a kid.Maybe you boss is very serious.I think he hope you can improve.Don`t complain anything or anybody. This is society not school.Try you best to do your work well this is only thing you must care.
Happy new year!
