Come Jan, Rosebys is set to debut in the country. GHCL, Sanjay Dalmia group company, which acquired the UK based home textile chain last year is planning a domestic run for it. The company is looking at the franchisee model to launch the chain in the country. A premium brand it is bound to make inroads in the country. Apart from home textiles like bed sheets, towels, furnishings, Rosebys will also sell personal care products like soaps. Consumer demand for lifestyle products is seeing a boom in the country and majors like Future Group, Welspun, Reliance Retail, Maspar have all entered domestic markets. It also has brought a semblance of organization in the market. Rosebys international brand will be leveraged. Reoseby has 300 company operated stores across UK. GHCL is also looking at foraying into the Eastern European market. The company also holds licences like StarWars, Bob the builder. The launch will be in North and West to begin with.
