The True Meaning of Christmas

Dear Folks,
Christmas is an event that marks the day when God came to meet with man.
Born in a manger, with no room or warm bed to lay his crib. Baby Jesus was born of virgin Mary for the purpose to fulfill the prophecies of old. Mat. 1:22, 23
" All this took place to fulfill what the LORD had said through the prophet; 23 The virgin will be with child and will give birth to a son, and they will call him Immanuel which means, " God with us."
That very first Christmas saw the three wise men from the East and the first giving of gifts. They went the way of the Star they had seen in the East. When they saw him, they bowed down to worship him, opened their treasures of gifts of gold and of incense and of myrrh.
This is what the prophets had written:
But you, Bethlehem, in the land of Judah, are by no means least among the rulers of Judah; for out of you will come a ruler who will be the shepherd of my people Israel.
