Scam Tactics
Post 1 of 8
Hello Everyone,

I wanted to discuss scam tactics, how they cheat people and what tricks they can use.

The reason why I would like to discuss this issue is, that many of us not quiet aware what is possible. This information and discussion is only to make more members and business partner aware what’s going on out there, and help them to prevent being scammed.

As many of us know that in today’s society it’s very difficult to trust someone, especially in business.

Most scammers always try to pretend someone or something they are not. From past experiences below are some cases.

- Scammer pretending to be seller, with no real company and someone else’s goods.
- Scammer trying to get hold of my company details to misuse them for some dubious intentions
-Scammers trying to get advanced payment on account that is a private account
-Scammer trying to get bank details to misuse it

And many other issues.

But how do they work, and why is it that many times they succeed leaving behind financially damaged people.

A-Most of them are sweet-talkers and always try to get out of the way to make you feel comfy, and make your forget about the deal

B-They always try to make up some fake company rules, and pressure you into doing what they say

C-Mostly online fraudsters and scammers try to get you to give out your bank details

D-Majority of the scammers tries to get advanced payments to see the goods, or security deposits

E-If you do ever want to inspect the goods, not possible without payment the full amount in advanced, or don’t even have the prove to show you the goods.

F-Fake pictures, and someone else’s goods, and at times, even other peoples companies.

G-They love to allude people, like the typical African business proposition mails, where you can apparently get couple of million dollars, on the given criteria and actions.

And many many more.

I am sure all of you have already encountered one of the above-mentioned situations, and at times was also helpless about what to do in that situation.

The best medicine is, if you don’t feel right, check thoroughly and if you feel to good, it’s too good to be true.

Please share your stories and experiences, so you can help others to watch out and put an end to scammers.

The coments above is not 100% right.

firstly, Now Chinese people is not like 30 years ago, 14500KG rice is not a really big amount for them;

second,most of scamer is personal behavior while not company action, if you was cheated by him/her, it's your fault because you did nothing than turst on your intuition.

  There are mamy methods that can prevend you from being cheated:

1. Checked the supplier's homepage,

2. Make phonecall according to the contact information stats in their website,dail the fax number to check the fax real exists;

3. Asking local friends/partner to check for you.

anyway, like everybody knows there are scammer exists but when they encountered, they forget the lessons.

Finnaly, the most of the business part are real and honest, only a few scammer life living people get the situation more complicated and bad influenced.

Goodluck to everybody.

Hello there,

Thanks for your info, but I was not talking about Chinese scammers to be precise, I was talking in general about all scammers around the world, and tried to make some points so anyone who has not encountered them before has an watch full eye.

Its not neccessary that scammers from China use the same trick as someone from Africa or Europe or USA. Depending on the amount scammers can take drastic steps to achieve their goal.

So whatever you do have an watchfull eye my friends and business partners.

Wish you all a safe business.
