Whether telephone marking is more aluable than e-mail marking? When we receive a enquiry from the potential customer, we will get some value information with the business e-mail, the telephone number, the fax number and so on. Then which manner you will do when you communicate with you potential customer? Use the telephone communication, or the e-mail communication? Or use this two manners in the meantime?

Best Regards!!

Replying to [Mickey Mouse]:Dear Peter, It is indeed a very good question you have ask, to me, the better way is to communicate through email, If you need to get immediate response on any point then you can talk to your buyer/supplier over phone and get the doubt clear but then too a confirmatory mail needs to be send immediately, as there will not be any proof for whatever you discussed over phone, petty matters can be excluded, but other and main thing should be written in lack and white. I mean everything should be crystal clear. So it is always advisable to have the written communication. So a perfect blend of means of communication will leads you towards success.

Replying to [Mickey Mouse]: Normally people do not like to get disturbed.

If you call your potential customer if he is in meeting he may not speak to you at all or he may ask you to call after sometime which does not guarantee that he will be free when you call next time.

Hence the best solution is to communicate via email this way you are not disturbing the potential customer. Whenever the customer will be free he will go thru your email and will revert to you.

This also helps you to file all your communication for future records as you can not keep the track of verbal communication all the time.

If the issue is URGENT and has to be IMMEDIATELY ADDRESSED then only you can make a call which shows the URGENCY OF THE MATTER.

Replying to [Mickey Mouse]:
I don't like making phonecalls only if it's urgent.
Because, there's one important thing: the customers must have inquiried many suppliers and they may even CANNOT remember or DO NOT know which company you are from and who are you.
It's a little embarrassed for both of us.
In this situation, making phone calls are just useless.
And if it's really urgent for me to get responce from the customers, I will call them and I'm sure at that time, we've communicate with each other for many times and of course we've known each other.

Replying to [Mickey Mouse]: dear mickey , when you find the enquirey is bit serious , go ahead , just give him a call , this will confirm you that the buyer is serious and it will also gives a confidence to the buyer that his supplier is a serious , it builds a stong relation between you and your buyer after a telephonic conversation , therefore whenever you find a serious enquirey always call the buyer , this will makes you closer towards your buyers , sale will definatly increase .

If you feel from the other side , i mean suppose if you are a buyer and after some queries seller gives you a phone call then you can expect from him that he can cooperate with your company in future also , I hope you understand my point of view , do not think it will be waste or it will be disturbing the buyer , we are here to do the business and not disturbing , we want to talk a serious business which buyer is already in need of , go ahead an call him , he will give you the order, BEST OF LUCK.

merry christmas and a happy new year.
