Does email marketing help find new customers?

While dealing with the domestic client email marketing helps to find the customers, but when ur boiling down with a foreign clients sometime email marketing doesn't workout. As of my Knowledge, before sending a email to the company, we should make some research on that particular company i.e what kind of services they r producing, lastest strategy, respective contact person etc. After doing all these thing you should prepare a good business proposal to the client.

In my experience, there are four categories of content that proposals must contain to maximize your chance of winning.Your objective in writing a proposal is to provide your client with enough information, persuasively presented information,to prove your case and motivate the client to buy your services or applications. That sounds pretty straightforward.

Winning proposals must be client centered, not company- or product-centered. Most people buy because they’re looking for solutions to pressing problems, additional resources to close gaps, or the
means to cope with difficult issues. What this means is that a proposal is not a price quote, a bill of materials, or a project plan. Each of those elements may be part of a proposal, but they are not
sufficient to make a persuasive, client-centered case.

1. Evidence that you understand the client's business problem or need.
2.A compelling reason for the client to choose your recommendation over any others.
3.A recommendation for a specific approach, program, system design, or application that will solve the problem and produce positive business results.
4.Evidence of your ability to deliver on time and on budget.

If you don’t know what the customer cares about, call the respective person and get the clear picture of them.

E-mail campaign still holds relevance. Only thing is the customer will revert back when there is a pressing need and a tangible advantage with us. It needs to be supported by phone calls and/or personal visits to firm up contacts.

Replying to [Admin]:I agree with that e-mail is good and economic way to find a new customer. in fact most of customers don't like the call from someone who he deosn't know at all. while some customers who are not good at computer like fax much more than e-mail. so it really depends on when we choose marketing way.

Email marketing is lucrative for a multitude of reasons including; its inexpensiveness, its immediacy, its ability to target defined demographics, and its effectiveness measuring performance results.

In comparison to other marketing vehicles, email is very inexpensive. Email marketing doesn’t require any of the preparation costs that other methods involve. Email does not require an advertiser to spend additional money on printing, paper or postage. Development of an advertisement creative can be pricey depending on the type of piece you are composing. Most email service providers offer creative templates as part of their service, thus taking additional costs away from the advertiser. In addition, email marketing is generally priced based on the amount of mail sent. In turn, the cost directly relates to the size of your business.

The immediacy which email is deployed can help a starving business generate instant revenues. An email marketing campaign can be completed, from designing creative to deployment of all email, within a few hours. Compared to direct mail or banner advertising, which can take weeks to finish, an email marketing campaign will generate 80% of its response within the first 3 days of initiation.

Email marketing gives an advertiser the ability to target their message to a very niche demographic. With email an advertiser can reach an audience that has expressed interest in their product or service. Whether an advertiser is emailing their own subscriber list or working with an email list provider offering key demographics, their message is getting in front of a defined audience. Additionally, email can be personalized to reflect the recipient’s name, buying history, life stage events and consumer preferences.

Unlike print and other forms of marketing where the advertiser has to guesstimate the true response of their campaign, email marketing traces response all the way down the line. With email marketing an advertiser can effectively track the number of people that opened their message, the number of recipients who clicked through the email to go to the advertisers website and the number of those visitors who make a purchase. Whereas print advertisers have no way of knowing how many people actually viewed their ad nor responded to it. Furthermore email results are real time and can be accessed 24 hours per day.

Email marketing is effective. For example, compared to direct mail it generates a ROI that is 40 times higher. Beyond its comparison to other marketing options, email marketing successfully increases sales, drives traffic (whether foot or online), builds loyalty and increases brand awareness. An email campaign drives traffic to the advertisers store or website at a response rate that is 50 times greater than banner ads and 5 times greater than direct mail. Through email an advertiser can consistently communicate with their customers and prospects. Without fail, regular communication will increase the likelihood of that recipient becoming or remaining a loyal customer. Lastly, email will help increase brand awareness by continually reinforcing the advertisers image, story and personality. Story, image and personality drive emotional connections with customers; emotional connections encourage consumers to make a purchase. The combination of increased traffic, loyalty and brand awareness will result in email marketing’s overall effectiveness including a vast increase in sales.

Another key benefit of email marketing is its ability to compliment and enhance every other marketing activity a business engages in. An email campaign can coincide with a direct mail piece, a banner campaign, television commercial or print advertising. By executing an email campaign along side any other form of marketing the business will reinforce their brand and increase awareness for their offer, both resulting in an increase in sales at a very low cost.

The question of who should be using email marketing remains... but the real question is who shouldn’t be using email marketing. The truth of the matter is any business that wants to communicate and develop relationships with prospects and customers should be using email. With limited time, budgets and resources, email marketing is even more important to small business’ because it can make a one-person operation look larger and more professional. With do-it-yourself services priced out to fit your needs, there is absolutely no reason for a business to ignore such an effective and lucrative form of advertising.

Every online business provides great service to generate satisfaction among their customers. Email marketing is one of the most powerful marketing tools available today. It's easy, affordable, direct, actionable and highly effective.

Email marketing is inexpensive. Paper mailers, TV and other marketing channels carry a huge marketing cost. Email marketing costs less than a fraction of any other type of marketing programs. When using e-mail as the media of your marketing and advertisements, you eliminate the need for high costs. Email is free and if you can manage to make your own promotional advertisements you can also save a bundle there. Communicating via email is an affordable way to stretch a tight marketing budget. It can cost as little as fractions of a penny per email. Your time-sensitive information is sent in minutes, not days or weeks, and you can see the results of your efforts instantly.

Email marketing is fast. Email marketing is fast in terms of production, delivery and response. Most of the production work is done just on your computer screen. Email messages are transmitted in minutes, you can launch your campaign, get results and make money even within hours of sending your emails.

Email marketing also enables you to proactively communicate with existing prospects and customers instead of passively waiting for them to return to your website, visit your store or office, or call you on the phone. Email marketing allows you to communicate more information, more often. The key to turning your first-time customers into repeat customers is by building relationships. Even though email is faceless, it can still greatly assist you in building a solid relationship with your customer base. Tough competition will attempt to draw your customer base away by undercutting your costs and doing whatever possible to switch your customers over. The best way to prevent your customers from jumping ship is to build a relationship with them over time.

Email marketing is measurable. You cannot improve what you cannot measure. Email marketing is trackable, measurable and hence improvable. With such capabilities, each of your campaigns can be evaluated and tweaked for bettered performance.

Email marketing gives your brand an edge in a tough market. Daily, weekly, or even monthly emails will keep your brand in your target consumer’s mind. As more and more of the population begins to use email; email marketing will become a standard in the marketing industry. Finding another marketing method that comes close to all the benefits that email marketing offers is nearly impossible.

I voted for “Email is great” ! [em19]
