We have been contacted one company from nigeria they offered sunflower oil from their country and they quoted the price 300 USD per metricton. when we asked them samples they said we have to pay $300 for the 5 litre sample order, and they use our account to ship it to us. Please let me know what is your opinion about their samples cost 300 USD.

Average price from South America and Europe is 1300-1600 USD FOB.
From Nigeria I get 200-400 USD CIF Hungary.
Do you think that is possible?
I have seen some reference to Western Union, though not in all offer.
Some companies have english and chineese names, they have cell numbers from england and other countries which are not working, and they can be only reached through their Nigeria number beggining with 2348.
Most of them ask for T/T payment 30 - 50% upfront and the rest at loading. None of them asks for L/C. Isn't that strange?
Do you think that these offers are frauds?
