Buyer interested in my product but have a problem
Post 1 of 31
One of my potential customers asked me to send samples to him,at first,he just said he interested in one of our products,i told him that we offer the samples free, but he should pay for the mailing, then he replied me with that he is not in the position to pay for it because they don't have the DHLaccount,FED-EX OR ANY ACCOUNT and showed that he intereated in all our items, and asked me to send the samples to them as soon as possible.

BUT I TELL TO HIM THAT IF YOU WANT TO SAMPLE THAN GIVE ME ANY RELATIVE ACCOUNT THAN HE TOLD ME THAT THEY HAVE YOUR FEDEX ACCOUNT AND GIVE ME ACCOUNT NO. BUT THAT NO. IS WRONG , SECOND TIME I MAIL TO HIM THAT THIS IS WRONG NO. SO GIVE ME RIGHT NO. THAN HE GIVE ME RIGHT NO.. FIRST HE TOLD ME HE HAS NOT ANY ACCOUNT NO. SECOND HE GIVE ME WRONG NO. AND FINAL HE GIVE ME RIGHT NO.

What should i do ?

Replying to [sahid]: It is impossible to send him the samples ,for so many samples . If he is really a buyer of your products, and he won't mind to pay the sample fee and freight charge.
To send others samples is our problem ,i also cannot identify who worth i to send samples .
But they always pay me the sample fee or/and freight charges .
If you cannot make a choice ,tell you manager ,if he has a much experience .Good luck for you !

I want to know how long have you contact each other.

if too long and your samples is free, why do not you send samples to your buyer.Maybe, there is a risk, but no risk,no chance.

If not long, you had better continue to contact and detect the buyer idea.

And meantime, you could serach the buyer's information on internet.if he have dark pot,you could find on internet.

In a word,in the end,the buyer give you right no.and your samples is free, you could send to buyer.Maybe this is a big successful starting.

Good Luck.

Don't trust the buyer, there's no reason why the buyer can't just PAY for the sample. The buyer should only get the sample for free if the seller has approached the buyer, if the buyer approached you and asked for a free sample, then disregard the buyer. He/She is not worth dealing with and is probably a small customer. A REAL buyer would willingly pay for the sample.
