Where is the Success??

I'm just starting this business of mine importing athletic tapes from China. I have read your posts and with what I see, you have been blessed to have a father and a grandfather who are wise and successful. I have gone thru a lot of tribulations in life (including getting fired twice and my 7-year girlfriend leaving me). I had failures and what I believe is that failing at some point in your life doesn't mean being a failure.

As Dr. John C. Maxwell says, success is not a destination. It's a journey. You can find success in everyday life - like the food on the table that you are able to eat or provide, the gas in the car that keeps you mobile, the brain that you have to make decisions (whether right or wrong), and the patience for other people even though they * you off big-time.

Sir, you have great potential and I admire people like you!

hello my friends!!! My name is laura and I´m fom colombia , a third world country, despite our little economy and slowly development we are a worker country with a lot entreperneurs people, as me. is very nice for me to find these question because daily I thoug about this issue, Am doing well the things?, why i didnt find more customers?, I will sucess?, these questions are some times very difficult to answer because who knows the true, is you are doing everything fine but still the business didn´t do, and so??, but for me the thing is you have to do some actions:

HAve preparation, this mean a good prodcut, good price and godd custom service.

Search , search and search your aportunity

and when you are constant in your job, you find the good oportunity to do your perfect deal, is a combination of all this things, but have a price and the questions is are you prepared to pay the high price? some people no and some people yes but the diference is to be a person who all the time with open eyes to see the world diferent as all the people see, this is for me the answer to the question,

good luck for everybody in your bussines and dont miss the spirit and the soul for do what your heart says to do....

Hello to you all,

I am sure there are a lot of members here, who after a lots of hard work feel like its not going anywhere. There even some who feel like what else they must do to get successful. Some have left many have come to try their lucks.

Business like in life, is a hard road, no matter what the upside is all of us have to go through the downside first.

Its tough to see reality compared to the vision one has initially starting up a business.

As time p , people settle, reality kicks in and some leave, realizing that thats not what they had hoped for, some stick to the current situation and come to an halt.

Yet there are some of us, who keep on going, despite the feeling that nothing is moving, that the roof is about to collapse above them. Like the family business ranging from Factories to small traders, who have invested more then what the output is, unexpectedly. Or other traders who have invested in goods which are stuck now, and no buyer in site, and the worst is when you actually think that the deal is through and end up having your goods stuck at the customs due to new resolutions around the globe, and end up paying a fine, lose the contract, and lost the goods.

Where to start again, what to do now?? Despite all this happenings there are some who keep going. And its them who eventually succeed, they have become hard and roughned up by all the troubles and misshappenings they have faced.

They have never asked themselfs where the success is, rather the only thing these struggling successful people ask themself is how to neverever let anything get them down again, thats all.

So as to say the Success lies in the Fear of not having to lose all that one poses, or the tiny bit hope that is left in the heart, not to dissappoint the family, the friends, or the fire burning in the heart to show the world that one is different.

Whatever it is, it lies in the Downside first, only through disappointment one finds his true path, but many of us leave by then, and keep on wondering what might have happened if they kept on going.

Whats your view of success??

In my eyes , success doesn't  lie on how much wealth you have made ,but lies on how much progress you have made in your line ,and find your own position and self -value gradually . you can not get any where unless you stick to your line .

There is a lot of people toil for success and only few attain that level. If it is easily reachable, then it carries no value. The success can be measured by the inner satisfaction and of course the monetary gain/social status still matters. We have to work with a vision and determination to succeed. My best wishes .[em19]

yes ,support your opinion , meanwhile like your picture the lovely tiger , and recently i am enjoying this cartoon about this tiger, very interesting and funny .

I agree that these things happen and that it is a long road to learn the dos and donts of any business. In my opinion, the secret is determination and never giving up until you've reached the goals that you set out for yourself. If you give up, you will never know where the road could have led you!

Hello People,

First of thanks for to all of you with your insight about success and your thoughts.

Its been a while since I wrote this, and as usual time goes and more knowledge is gained and some view points lost.

Another thing I have learned this year, that like many have already mentioned it in here, is the path of Fear of losing.

Because of that fear you will notice people push them even harder, and there are then only two types of people who will either succeed or Fail.

One is who decides to change course and follow a different believe after facing disapointment.

The other who despite all odds risks all, by saying all or nothing. And in reality its this type of person who eventually get where they wanted to go to. Sometimes its not even a matter of determination or believe, oddly enough its the situation a person gets trapped into.

Here is a simple question to all of you, and please think about it deeply, since it actually down to its root only has two answers.

What will you do if you lose everything right now?? (your home, the computer you are working on, your business, all the money, all that the basic things that you rely on, which are provided through business or a job, what if you even lose that, everything you have worked so hard for is now gone) So what will you do?

Please remember that the answer to this question only has two answers, we humans tend to give fancy answers, answers with mixed feelings, and controversial answers, but down to their roots once again there are only two possibilities, that will then show what you are made of.

So once again

What will you do if you lose everything now??

Would love to hear from you all.
