       You have to reply according to the enquiery of the buyer with full details: suppose a buyer needs T shirts, with sepcifications. You must quote according to his requirement and you should not give full details of the products. You can give the information to see more,"kindly visit our web-site for more details" and put all details about the products in your web-site

        You must impress the buyer by giveing all the relevent details;

1.MOQ      2.lead time     3.pre-production sample sumission  

4.last date for shipment  5. LCL/FCL charges   6. packing details 

7.payment terms   ,

if you find some reference, you can give that also.

1.After submission of all relevent details wait for his replay for a week

2.resend the mail., even there is no reply

3, contact the responsible person and introudce yourself and enquire about the order

Replying to [Sophia Feng]:In responce to every querry, there is big responce from alibaba.com members.In my experience, 30 as average for competitive product in general and 8 if it is not very common product.
I believe, sometimes there is no time to reply all, otherwise plain rudeness.

Replying to [Sophia Feng]:If you are a gold Suplier. Your impression is automatically give good to the purchaser. But if the Importer getting the same material in a cheap price then the other Free supplier company, So why the Importer buy from you. I am also a importer and i am importing from last three years. My first preority is getinng the cheap rate then i go for the quality.I dont know what you are selling. But this is my personal openion. This is the only reason i am also not responding the suppliers.

Replying to [Sophia Feng]: You say; you don't get enough response. I think it is normal. I think you should wait response from 30% of the enquiries you replied. I also would like to warn you about african cheats. We get lots of enquiries from Africa continent, especially from Nigeria. But their aim is not trade but to leave their country by your help or cheat you. I do not reply their enquiries no more. If you do the same next, you won't waste your time for useless people.
And you should only let the enquirer know required information. Extra information may not be useful, indeed it may be unnecessary and harmful in some cases.

Many of us meet with problem.But why do buyers not reply to this?
Before sending email,think of yourself as a buyer and read it carefully.
See if you will be interested when seeing the mail.This is a very interesting job.
This only relates to the profession of the mail and there are many reasons for which buyers don't reply.1)the mail is classified as rubbish in the buyers .2)they are very busy at work and receive numerous information as yours.They don't see all and delete directly .
3)they are not interested in your products or definitely not what they are looking for 4)they only do the survey of the market if it is hot products and how the price it is .
But we need to know as sellers what we should do in this situation,when buyers enquire you for the first time,they are concerned with your positive reply ,price ,and your profession in products or trading business.
Price is forever the most important thing.They will compare different prices and choose three companies with good prices and then set about it.

Replying to [Sophia Feng]:Dear Sophia, the main problem is, when a buyer want to buy anything he send enquiry to more then 20 perosns. He got reply from some. As you are a Gold Supplier, may be your price will be not so competative as others. You are a Gold Supplier member of Alibaba and that is only a membership. It don;t affect the pricing policy. I also find that wether you are a free member or a Gold Supplier, if your price is good and competative,you will get back the responce..

Further, many times not direct buyer contact you. Many trading companies contact you to get your price and then show to there buyer for comparison. So you not get the reply back. They only take your price for comparison with others.

As a gold supplier you may get good impression, but buyers expectatoin is product. Product should be suit with their requirement. as well as product specification, price of the product is also importent. Any buyer like to get good products at resonable price.
Therefore you have to re-consider your product quality and price. try to get information about the product in the market same as your product. Then do modification to your product to penetrate the market and price also should be adjusted according to market price.
