Replying to [esbysales]:Hi, I'm sorry that yet another honest trader got scammed.
I did a search and found the company name in www.ukdata.com which indicates that it is a company with a credit report. I have seen other scammers company names listed at that site. Don't consider that site trustworthy. !!!
You say it looked like a legitimate company. How did you conclude that?
If I do an exact match ("") Google search I don't get any trustworthy info.
Don't rely on a yahoo mail - you have no way of backtracking it to the "owner" and even if they would reply to you, maybe another guy got scammed and had their email closed.
If you can't find any certainty about a compnay by seaching on google, ask them for information that can verify them before doing any business.
A company that will not provide such information is either a scammer or so unserious that it could just as well be bankrupt next week.

Here is my procedure (copied from an earlier reply):

sorts your leads in 3 catagories:
1) Obviously not scam
2) Lights flashing - needs further investigation
3) Obvious scam

Well, Item 2) needs time, and as little as possible unless it can be put in Item 1).
Here is some ways:
- read the mail. Is it showing any knowledge of your business area ?
- read the company profile on Alibaba. Does it match the mail ?
- still worth investigating, open Google. Use "" for exact match results.
- search on some of: name, address, company name, phone number, name of the person.
A real and serious company should occur on reliable articles. If it is a scammer, there is a good chance you will find articles that either tell it is scam or articles from the same person using different email, address, phone number or products.

If you are still interested but in doubt, reply through Alibaba with something like:
"Due to exessive time consumption on scammers we have been forced to verify companies before entering negotiations.
Could you please supply us with information such as company registration number or similar with reliable reference ?
As a serious company I hope you understand the need for this information.
I'm looking forward to verify your seriousness and enter further negotiations
Best regards.......etc"

If the company is a scammer, they know they have lost. You will seldom get a reply.

Whether there is the company exists or not? verify how they are doing this nonsensical.Youmust verify with some local agencies: Why you are very particluar in purchaseing only with them?.Since they are giveing branded prodcut for half the price.

I find many incidents that because of price, many EU and USA people burning their finger. You can report it to your embassy in china and they will take this matter and giev you a result.

Replying to [esbysales]: Hi there, how far have you got with this? I realise you are talking about china , us etc. but do you have any reason to suppose this is a UK company (I am based in London) there is a company of the same name registered at a post only address in London and you have said the hotmail address is co.uk (which I would not trust for legitimate company business - dont they have their own website?) This could be someone else, or could just be a cover, but if John or anyone has any reason to suppose it might be in UK you could ask Companies House for the home address of the directors. I am happy to dig further if you want. Good Luck

Replying to [esbysales]: First, request they refund your money by certified letter, giving them ten (10) days to respond. Second, if no response, immediately contact the Attorney General's Office in the State they are located in and tell them you want to file charges for Theft, Theft by deception, Fraud, Fraudulent Inducement, Wire Fraud etc. They will send you a form or I can help you fill one out and then let the Atty. General handle it. He will eventually act upon this. Internet Fraud is a Federal thing. so for 3,000.00, I don't think they want to hire an attorney, have a trial and possibly go to jail.

Good Luck.

As you told that you have already paid them with about $1100 and then with about $1700,i think that was the biggest mistake made by you. So,remember dnt send money in cash or kind to any these sort of people.Let us forget as we cnt do anything in this regard. But,the best thing is that,in future you must remember with this and must never pay to this kind of people.Have u got any receipt that, they are been paid by you,if you have then something can be done....otherwise the money is lost.....

Replying to [esbysales]:

these are very common and recurring problems now a days. you have not given the complete information about the seller's country.

now if you have all the documents to prove that you had paid advance money and the intentions of the seller's does not seem to be genuine, visit the Embassy of the seller's country and lodge your complaint with the commerce section.

send the same complaint to chambers of commerce of the seller's country.

send the complaint to the commerce ministry of seller's country.

send the complaint to your country's embassy in seller's country.

send the complaint to seller's bankers also.

thats the only way you can recover your money.

wish you all the best.
