How to start becoming a purchasing agent or broker?

Hi Everybody!
This is my first post here. I'm so thankful that I am now in the process of becoming a direct link for suplliers in Indonesia and to the end user in Dubai. Products are hotel ammenities and other lodging equipment.
I am now acting as a liason. I have nothing to do the fund, I'm simply becoming the contact for suplliers and end user. What's the best way for me to get the profit for this deal? Commissionable base or mark up the prices?
Another issues are: how about the contracting should be made? should I be involved on contract?
I want to find the best method I can use as a purchasing agent or broker so I can get the profit while I can be professionally giving a completed personalisation service for both parties...

Yes, you can do both mark up or commission. For mark up, you should be the reseller or should have close association with the seller. The commission part may be got as Fee protection Agreement (FPA). Just google it, you will get a no.of specimens. You can try getting mentioned in the contact as a facilitator/co-coordinator with a fee of 2-5% depending on your contribution.

Replying to [Fadli]: i just engage in sales on internet ,but i know that maybe you should know about the price in the market ,then when you consult with your suppiler and the final user ,you will be up to the aim you really want . maybe that's really stupid idea , but that is really true .

Replying to [Fadli]:now the price of market is very transparent.and the buyer can search the supplier from the Internet.So you will need to find the cheapest for him.then you can find the goods in Yiwu ,Zhejiang,China.Because there are a lot of cheapest goods in Yiwu Internal market.and there are a lot of businessmen from Mideast.i suggest that you develop the market,then i can find the cheapest goods for you.

Thank you... let's say the end user can search the prices directly, then I should sell the same selling prices from suppliers then. No way I can mark up the prices..
There won't be any question if I can give the end user a lower price.. but, what if I give same prices as suppliers' selling prices... Got any idea what are the most convincing tools I can use to make sure the end user will use my service instead of directly to suppliers?
Eventhough contract can be made directly, what should I ask in advance to suppliers? anticipating the suppliers don't want to protect any commissionable price to me...since suppliers may say that contracting is made directly between them.

As more and more technologies have been used in International Trade, they also bring some bad effort for Internation buisness, the scanner is more than before, so there is still some smart businessman would like to pay some fee for safety in international Trade, so the credible trading company, agent, broker still have their room to get the profit from International Trade.

i have the same experience with you, i'm a laision between buyers and suppliers,but i offer to the buyers the cheaper prices than what he original buys from others with the same quality, but i only get commission.
and until now, we cooperate quite well with each other.

Tell me about the contract, should I be involved in contracting between buyer and supplier closely? any sample of this?
