I ordered and paid for a sample of product more than two weeks ago. I ordered from an Alibaba Gold Supplier and I thought I could trust the company. I paid for the sample and they told me that they had received the money and the product was available and would be shipped to me on the next day. However, until today I could hardly get in touch with the supplier. Once they told me that they haven't got the product (just few days ago they told me that it was available) and I had to wait few days. After sending many emails last Saturday 24 November I received a reply that they would send me the sample on monday 26 November. Since then I can't get in touch with the supplier at all.
Please advice me what to do.

Being a Gold Supplier here at alibaba means nothing more than the company has paid for membership - which all Chinese companies are now required to do! It does not mean that they are better than other companies.

If you were trying to buy foreign brand name product in China then your money is gone and you won't see anything.

If you were trying to buy something else then perhaps there is a reason but it does not sound too promising.

maybe they didn't have the sample on hand.
they should tell you this if they really need to remaking the sample.
becasue sometimes it really need the time to make.
you should contact with them again.
how thing's going on with the sample ?
if they are still didn't replying with you.
i think that they are not making the sample for you.
and did you discuss or negotiated with them before or not ?

Replying to [denitsa]: The first thing I would do is post the company in the "Suspicious Companies" forum with the company name in the heading. They will know that they have been named in the forum and will have a chance to respond and rebut your statement. Then I would also send them an email that you have done this. Maybe then you will get some action on the sample since they seem to have broken off contact with you.

Thank you for all your advices. So here's what happenned at last. after sending them few more emails they finally replied to me the tracking number of my order. I've received the goods today and I'm really really disappointed. The robot dog I've ordered doesn't have anything in common with the thing I received. Why everybody is lying that he sells 100% Authentic products. Before I sent the money they send me a picture of the robot dog that I wanted to order and I said "Yes I want exactly this one". And the thing i received is rather a kids toy that could not do anything, it even doesn't have a manual. It's really tragical and it's so scratched that I think it was used long time ago before it was shipped to me. I don't know how such people can exist and steal other people's money
