How to urge the customer to place an order?

I had engage international business for many month.But I had not receive an order. It's very bad.
I sent many samples to the customer, but no one to place an order.
Some customer tell me that they need to evaluate these samples.
Finally, I got no answer.I am very despondently.
Who can help me?

On the one hand, I, as a Chinese, do hope we Chinese (supplier) can value our fame and dignity by being honest in transactions. On the other hand, I would like to say, some newbies on the sales staff do not have enough knowledge nor experience, thus they fail to satisfy customers' needs. In addition, the ways of thinking are very different between the buyer's country and the seller's country, a lot of misunderstanding also occur, which is also a factor leading to failure of the transaction.
