On the tyre show this month in Shanghai, i met a customer from Viet Nam. He inquired several sizes of our product and i quoted the pice that day. I noticed that he had special interest in our product bcs he marked the sizes in our product catalog seriously.
When be back, i e-mailed him several times but gain no reply. I don't
know where i have made a mistake so that he lost his interest in our product. Waiting for your advisable suggestion.
Award 50 MVPs ( What's this? )for the best answer.

The reasons why he did not reply are,I think:

1 He is now on business trip, having no time to play email game.
2 He has found another suppliers with more advantages.
3 He is not a professional tyre buyers.
4 He is one of your competitors.

If 2,3,4,forget him.

Replying to [mangrufoo]:you know people at Fairs are different once at the fair. they are overwhelmed by the amount of sellers and get mixed up. They see so many sellers that they might think that your offer was not so interesting after all.
Just contact him and ask how you can proceed in keeping contact and what services he might expect from you.
Once he replies then you might be able to gain his confidence.

Anyway it is 100% not easy and need a lot of time.
Again : buyers in fairs are just acting macho´s

I think the situation is that just he is an trader ,for another word he is a middle seller.
he have to contact or confirm all thing well with his end customers.

He do not reply, that is beacuse he can not deal with his customers or there is no need for his customers at the moment.

that is my opinion.

Is this your first ever fair that you had participated? So many people do that. That person could have got the details from you and then moved on to other booths and also checked with other suppliers whether they have the same or similar items and got better prices.

Or He could have been another manufacturer in his country, and was just doing some research. Whatever the reason , you should not worry much and move on.
