Is Plastic "Poly-Wood Furniture" Getting Popular In Your Country?
Post 1 of 7
[em13]
Hello,
I am selling Poly-Wood Furniture to many Amusement Parks and Hotels here in America. When I am at Trade Shows many people are excited about furniture made from recycled plastic. Hotels are excited because no germs can live on the surface of the plastic. Is the fear of Germs on Furniture mostly in America, or is this "Germ Crazy" fear everywhere?
I would love to hear your thoughts.

Replying to [Poly-Wood Guy]:

Maybe the germs can't live on plastic itself (can't "eat and digest" it), but they can definitely life on the grease from fingerprints left behind.

Besides, most people compare plastic furniture to wood furniture the same way they compare glass beads to diamonds...

Though if somebody likes your furniture, go ahead and sell it! Nothing wrong with that! [em19]

Replying to [Poly-Wood Guy]:Our plastic has been treated with a few chemicals that prohibit growth.
Thanks for the question.

Replying to [Poly-Wood Guy]:I am checking to see which countries I should be spending my advertising budget on. It is a legitimate question. I can not argue your question, it is a little of both.
Thank you for your thoughts![em7]

Replying to [Poly-Wood Guy]:You are correct in the germs can not dwell on the furniture. Their is no hole to hide in when it is washed. The parts have been given a "Wood Like" feel. In the Commercial world, points and Tax breaks are given, when the companies uses recycled products. [em3] This has inspired many Hotels and Amusement Parks to change out the furniture the guest get splinters from and then Sue. Yes it is ridiculous here in the States!
