Since the profits become less, many factories want to deal with the foreign buyers directly.
They used to work with the Chinese trading companies.
The factories always think the trading companies get big profits from the foreign buyers, but they earn small profits when they sell the goods to the trading companies.
So now more and more factories want to export directly to earn more profits from the buyers and they know the buyers are also happy to work with the factories directly.
But it is hard for many small factories to export directly to foreign countries. Why?
1)They don't know English.
2)They don't know foreign trade, they don’t know how to export.
3)They don't know how to get the buyers and serve the buyers.
Then they thought if they can find someone who worked in the trading companies and have the rich working experience, these things will be solved.
So here below is the story about my friend.
My friend used to work in a shoe trading company for several years.(in fact, we were the associate when we worked for the same trading company)
This year, the factory tried to get her out from the old company and persuaded her to work together, so she can help the factory to export directly to the world.
The factory set up an office in my city in June, and have my friend worked there.
Soon they came to the Germany fair in Seb.
The boss supposed my friend would bring him many clients from her old company, at least they would get a lot of orders from the Germany fair.
That was why that boss was willing to pay muchmore than USD1500 for that fair and accommodation fee there.
He thought what he get would be much more than what he pay…
But in fact, she didn't bring him any customers from her old company, the fair was not successful also.
Today, my friend said the factory is going to close the office, as the expense of having the office is huge, but their progress is so slow. So my friend will lose the job soon.
All things are difficult before they are easy!
It is not easy for a company to get the buyer and orders only through a fair.
The competition is so strong nowadays, the products, the price, the ability, the luck, every sector effect the business.
How can you hope to get the order so easily only thought a fair?
How can you expect to develop the foreign business so fast only for a short time?
If you don't have enough preparation mentally, how dare you to open an office? !

It is quite dramatic.
It took one year for this the factory boss to persuade my freind to work with him.Because my freind was hesitate at that time.
Then they signed the agreement this year, it should last for 3 years.
Now the boss wanted to close the office, the office has opened only for 3 months. The boss said to her, could I rerent this office to you and when you have the orders, you can give the orders to our factories.
How ridiculous the boss is?!
How dare he said this?!
