I make exports by truck. I used to make CPT exports.The exporter paid only for freight.
The carrier has an insurance for the goods.(CMR insurance the liability is about 4 usd / kgr.)However note that CMR insurance covers only the faults of the truck driver.It doesnot cover any loss from the 3th party.
Once 3 trucks burnt in a RO RO ship. The fire cause was unknown. The CMR insurer company didnot make any payment.
So I decided to make insurance. I try to send as CIP.
