20 days ago, I had sent more than 30 styls of our products to the client who we had not make business before.Several days before, I sent the email to him and he reply that they had check the price and quality. Until now, they do not send any news to me. I feel puzzled. What should I do? Are they samples hunter? As a saler in Internet, I always can not distinguish true or not. Pls, give me some suggestion. Thanks.[em9]

Replying To [cnoutstanding]:

Why don't you contact him and ask him did he receive the product yet, and what does he think about them?

You need to allow time for the product to get to him too

[Are they samples hunter? As a saler in Internet, I always can not distinguish true or not.]

How much did you find out about this customer BEFORE you sent off the samples?

If the customer asked for samples in their first contact or before they even got price information etc. then you are probably not looking at a legitimate customer.

If the samples were free then you may be looking at a sample hunter.

If the customer showed no real knowledge of your product upon questioning then they are possibly not legitimate.

Unfortunately as the samples have already been sent there is nothing that you can do now except hope that you may get an order. Not getting an order does not mean that the customer is not legitimate, but if you didn't do any due dilligence on the customer before you sent the samples then you will probably never know.

Replying to [cnoutstanding]:[em9]Many customers did this way. They asked samples from many suppliers in the same time. But sometimes even themselves don't know they could get the order or not from their customers. So what we should do?Ask samples and sample freight from the new customers, even no order come, then we won't loose too much.[em1]

You can provide sample for free that is good. Don't pay for the freight ask them to give you the courier service account. If they say they don't have an account you can tell that they are quite a small company, maybe run business at home or even a sample hunter.

If the customer willing to pay the freight most probably they are serious
