I would recommend to change a bit the scheme of working... Try make a call after you sent a message, at least to those who you're mostly interested in. While talking you 1) find the right person who's in charge for purchase 2) get more details 3) have a chance to tell more of your company 4) establish personal contact (that may help in the future - "people buy from people they like").
Good luck!

i completely agree to olla. sending follow-up emails time and time again will only disturb your potential customers, it's more likely you will be put on their spam list than getting positive feedback.

Replying to [zachan]:if you do not get any replies, then mayby your answers are not good enough.
The first thing you have to learn is to answer the question of the buyer.
Many times I also get replies from Chionsese producers and they just seem to asnwer just what they want to tell me, instead of answering the question.
You must treat the buyer seriously, or he will not return.

Quoting from [zachan]:

Dear friends.

I am a new sales in foreign trade. At beginning I had a lot of confidence and sent a lot of inquiries to buyers who post buying information here, but up to now I have recieved no reply yet. It make me miserable and dismay me very much. What can I do on such condition? Should I keep sending the people who did not take attention to me messages again and again?

It is thankful to dispel my problems

If you are responding to a Buying Lead that was posted and you are offering SPECIFICALLY what the person wants then a follow-up email 3 times in 2 weeks would be acceptable if it were me.

However, if you are responding with a product OTHER than what I posted about I may or may not respond.... If you keep emailing me I will become annoyed and add you to my BLOCKED list.

Re:
Exactly... Try to avoid sending mass mails to the same recipient if you dont wish to be in his block-list. Another reason to make a calll by the way - to show you don't wish to disturb, just checking if you both have interest to start mutually benefitial business (cause it's not only YOU who gets profits, the customer gets it also if find the right supplier).

And i would also agree that you should 1) replies to questions and 2)contact buyers who may be interested. I stay wordless when i ask for high-voltage cable and get offers for 'best quality women clothes" [em2]..
