This is how the mind of a Chinese Scammer works ...

In a Post by "wensenchen [CN]" owner of the scammer companies "oosoon.com" and "putian chengxiang huacheng trade co.,ltd," (who are Alibaba Gold Suppliers offering cheap fake products as Original Brands), he says:

http://resources.alibaba.com/topic/172486/www_oosoon_com_or_putian_chengxiang_huacheng_trade_co_ltd_scammers/2.htm

"In fact, for only a few hundred dollars, we are teaching greedy people how to be less greedy in the future. So we are doing our share to improve humanity. After all, chinese civilization is older than the white people civilization. When our ancestors were studying the stars, white men were still writing on cave walls. China is the center of the world. We are the best, even if you call us scambugs."

In effect, he's saying that he steals money from buyers to teach them a lesson (about trying to buy low priced brand name products).

Do not try to buy Original Brands from China, they are not avaliable!!!

To Wilhem:
Either you would trade with Australians, Americans, Asian, Africans, Europeans BUT if you don't pay by the L/C you would be highly likely to get cheated.

I'm Indonesian and I suggest you use condoms (L/C) to protect your trade.

Study about it (L/C) if you don't know.

Master your trade skills first before jumping for trading especially in this wild world of Internet.

You might need to open and browse few dozens International trade books and attend seminars/lecturers on export/imports.

If you were cheated before please Be a MAN and accept your defeat because you lack of knowledge and skills.

Admit that you need to attend schools/colleges/universities/consultants/experts again to master your trade.

Goodluck

Quoting from [chinese are BIG SCAMM]:

NEVER SEND MONEY THROUGH WU ALWAYS TRY TO CHEAT YOU ALWAYS USE PAYPAL,

It is good advice not to send money through WU but I don't agree that Paypal is the solution either.

Paypal is no substitute for common-sense and due dilligence. Common-sense should tell you, as other posters have pointed out, that a deal that sounds too good to be true probably is not a real deal. Due Dilligence would alert you to the fact that brand name products are going to be fake if purchased in China and that the 'supplier' you are dealing with is a scammer not a supplier at all.

Paypal can only help if the supplier never sends you anything. But any scammer who is willing to use Paypal is going to be smart enough to send you something so that they can show a tracking number to Paypal. It will then become your word against theirs which could go either way. Why give yourself only a 50/50 chance of being ripped off when you can play things much smarter.

I agree with the others that the people who tend to get ripped off are:

a. first timers,

b. not real traders as such, but just someone looking to either score a product cheaply or a quick profit

c. lost as I think that they are looking for a Chinese ebay - something that alibaba is not!!

Paypal is not the solution but it is very good advise to use paypal. First you never want to send money by any of the wire services because you do not know who you are dealing with. Second you never want to use a credit card because you do not know who you are dealing with and the scammer could use your card inforamtion to scam you and create fraud that way. When using paypal the scammer will just try and send you something with a tracking number and then papal cannot get involved, but if you paid by credit card through paypal now you do have recourse. You put a dispute in with your credit card company and they have buyers protection policies to protect against this very thing. If you can show that the item you received is not what you ordered you will win and should get your money back. It will become paypals problem to collect not yours. Also do not get discourage if you get turned down the first time. Paypal doesn't want to have to collect the loss from someone that may have a zero balance in their account so they will try to do everything to protect their own interest. If you loose the first time put the claim in again and this time show every bid of evidence in with it. For an example if you ordered something that was large like a 42 inch plasma tv and you get a box that is the size of a hard drive, take a picture of the box showing the size and a clear shot of the customs label showing the tracking number. This would make it obvious of what is going on. Of course the best defense to not getting scamed is knowledge and experience mixed in with common-sence. One thing you can do is always make the company send you an invoice prior to paying. With the invoice it will show you paid for a 42 inch plasma tv and then when you submit that with the picture of the box that this tv suppose to come in you should have no problems winning that dispute with your credit card company and get refunded. Paypal will have to refund the credit card company directly and you are done. Best thing anyone can do is to do your due diligence and you will avoid a lot of problems.

My experience!
I am a FilipinoTrader. I have been in business with this company for the last three or four years.  I have laid him my card [of who I am] when he came to visit me in my country.  We met when I registered at Alibaba.com as buyer and they went to see me when I was buying in Shaoxing.

I have been getting fresh order and last May my first -time to get  stock-lot - I brought my buyer as usual and they negotiated.  As a trader, I make him deal with my buyer thinking that all will be in good faith.  The business went as usual without me sensing of his foolishness - sadly, he short changed me and my stock-lot buyer sensing the deal was bad.  My buyers opted not to pay him.  The cargo was held at the port and I have to make a loan to pay for it.
To my dismay, the shipment was mostly garbage. On his invoice he declared printed stock lot.  And the fact, he charged me in yards.  How can he do this?  He acted to strangely when the payment was delayed.  Now, he will not give me any reason and answer as to why he did this.  He does not answer all my emails.  Please help me.

I feel  very sorry and sometimes puzzled.

I feel upset and angry  because some fellows have break the reputation of china suppliers. What they did has just increase the business cost for all china suppliers. But also I feel very puzzled because I do not know why some overseas buyers are always be deceived.

They are always trying to get unrealistic price.I do not know whether they had their business principles and whether they had some

common sense for one industry.Just take USB Flash drives as an example. I even doubt some buyers have common sense for USB

Flash Drives.Do they know how the price of USB Flash Drives work out?Do they keep eyes on Flash Market?Do they care how much  for the package?......Some of them just give out an unbelievable price even less than the Flash Price.

Then Some China suppliers use their heads to find some bad solutions.

So please just stop complaining and make yourself professional. Before making an enquiry, just make some research and set a

reasonable target price.

Not all the companies from China are scammers ,there are also lots of honest businessman, they tried thier best to service the customers. We are Wenzhou Shengda Import&Export Trade Co.Ltd.In China. It's really honest in China as a trade company. Many times we lost our customer for they said we are just middleman to combine the company and buyers together and will ask the commission ,We don't have in fact ,we just get the tax back from the government. This is our awarding for doing the business with the foreignor.

My opinion.. It's so so hard for alibaba to chck all companies , but the solution is when anyone sent to alibaba customer service a complain about a gold or even free member with a proof that this member scammed that user, alibaba can take an action of stopping that member until he gave the money back to the user. And to make a penality for gold and free members who fraud or to cancel their memeber..
