hahaha! I never feel sorry for someone who complains they've been scammed when they buy, for example, playstation 3 for $200 when retail is $800....
Why anyone would want to pay so much for 'toys' anyway is beyond my comprehension.... I find its enough struggle putting food on the table.

I think most of the people that got scammed are not working in that line of business. They are more like spot traders, trying a little of everything.

So they usually lack trading experience, and also selling experience. With selling experience they would know the market and would know what is unrealistic. They seem to work also on a very small scale. And seems badly funded too.

I mean what is a US$500 loss? It's really just a little money. Just one inspection trip to Beijing costs me already more, and there is no profit there whatsoever.

It is good advice not to send money through WU but I don't agree that Paypal is the solution either.

Paypal is no substitute for common-sense and due dilligence. Common-sense should tell you, as other posters have pointed out, that a deal that sounds too good to be true probably is not a real deal. Due Dilligence would alert you to the fact that brand name products are going to be fake if purchased in China and that the 'supplier' you are dealing with is a scammer not a supplier at all.

Paypal can only help if the supplier never sends you anything. But any scammer who is willing to use Paypal is going to be smart enough to send you something so that they can show a tracking number to Paypal. It will then become your word against theirs which could go either way. Why give yourself only a 50/50 chance of being ripped off when you can play things much smarter.

I agree with the others that the people who tend to get ripped off are:

a. first timers,

b. not real traders as such, but just someone looking to either score a product cheaply or a quick profit

c. lost as I think that they are looking for a Chinese ebay - something that alibaba is not!!

Replying to [wilhelm]: Well, racism exists everywhere doesn't it. White people he says-are we not all equal! Maybe his ancestors were too busy studying the stars to actually learn honest trade. Unfortunately, I too have been burned by a chinese manufacturer for a full container load of electrical products which cannot be resold. I was promised they were CSA approved for Canada and they were not. I did not travel to China first, but rather after it was delivered-too late-they already had my money. From what I can see the Chinese are developing on the backsides of successful businesses throughout the world. This is not sustainable development and ultimately they will have to have a high standard of quality control in order to have exports. I was shocked that he would call it greed- I ask each of you-"are you in business to loose money"-of course not, we are all here today in this forum because we are in business to make money and are seeking a higher profit margin within our business-which is often found in foreign trade. The challenge for each of us is to negotiate the cultural differences and avoid the wolf in sheeps clothing acting as an honest caring company owner.

I hope your buyers do not negociate too much on the orders to Chinese manufactuers.

There is a kind of kapan I brought every month. It is Chinese brand product and i feel it is excellent. I nevery buy it from Walmat, although it is 15 cheaper, because the kapen inside is 20% less than you buy it from anyother store. You are willing to pay rubish price, so what you will have.

All b2b website seems only promote price war. Can they do not to display quality?

Today I've made a crime announcement for the Finnish National Bureau of Investigation, who were happy to start investigations against Putian Chengxiang Huacheng Trade Co Ltd and Mr. Wensen Chen. They scammed 5880$ from me with fakes.

They will do international cooperation to collect victims of Wensen Chen together to claim prosecution against his fraudulent business and eventyally make him pay for what he's done.

I would now encourage everyone who has lost their money to Wensen Chen, to go to their local police station with all information about him and the case you're involved. Eventually that will help not only you, but all other victims of this unreliable professional scammer.

I see no future in him or his alike.

In a Post by "wensenchen [CN]" owner of the scammer companies "oosoon.com" and "putian chengxiang huacheng trade co.,ltd," (who are Alibaba Gold Suppliers offering cheap fake products as Original Brands), he says:

http://resources.alibaba.com/topic/172486/www_oosoon_com_or_putian_chengxiang_huacheng_trade_co_ltd_scammers/2.htm

"In fact, for only a few hundred dollars, we are teaching greedy people how to be less greedy in the future. So we are doing our share to improve humanity. After all, chinese civilization is older than the white people civilization. When our ancestors were studying the stars, white men were still writing on cave walls. China is the center of the world. We are the best, even if you call us scambugs."

In effect, he's saying that he steals money from buyers to teach them a lesson (about trying to buy low priced brand name products).

Do not try to buy Original Brands from China, they are not avaliable!!!

Wilhelm
