In a Post by "wensenchen [CN]" owner of the scammer companies "oosoon.com" and "putian chengxiang huacheng trade co.,ltd," (who are Alibaba Gold Suppliers offering cheap fake products as Original Brands), he says:

"In fact, for only a few hundred dollars, we are teaching greedy people how to be less greedy in the future. So we are doing our share to improve humanity. We are the best, even if you call us scambugs."

In effect, he's saying that he steals money from buyers to teach them a lesson (about trying to buy low priced brand name products).

Do not try to buy Original Brands from China, they are not avaliable!!!

Helo... My name is Tom. I work for Putian Chengxiang Huacheng Trade Co., Ltd. I did not realize my company is selling counterfeit products until I receive so many complains. My boss, Wensen Chen, assured me that we do not sell counterfeit products because we have to maintain honesty and integrity because of our Alibaba Gold Supplier standing. Because of our Gold Supplier seal of approval from Alibaba, as well as D&B and Tradekey, there are so many people who believed us.


I discovered that my boss was merely paying the required Alibaba fees to become a Gold Supplier.


We fooled many many people from all over the world. They mainly are from the US, Australia and Europe.

I am about to resign from this company, so I decided to expose this. Please do not email me at my usual email address (oosoon15@hotmail.com) because my boss opens my email.


I am sorry that I have been an accessory to the many pains of many people who fell for our company's scam.


When my boss discovers this posting, he will claim that I am merely an impostor. Let him be.


But let others be warned not to deal with our company and other companies from Putian city. We are an embarrassment to China and other honest companies that are out here to make an honest living.


By the way, if you think that the founders of Alibaba care about the scams going on using their website, please think that they already cashed out from the Initial Public Offering in Hong Kong. They are already filthy rich and enjoying their newly found wealth. In a short while, Alibaba (and the virtual thieves) will go down, and many investors in Hong Kong and Taiwan will lose will pants.


In order for me to express myself clearly, a friend of mine who attended a university in Hong Kong helped me to compose this letter of apology. He is also angry at Alibaba.

"Yes" in the case of Free Members.

'No" in the case of Gold Members where a partial on the spot audit (in respect of Quality Control systems and verification as to whether brand name products are fake or authentic) costs less than $500 versus some $6,000 annual membership fee charged by Alibaba.

Alibaba does delist members but mainly only in proven cases of no product being dispatched upon payment of sale price. Typically, a scammer will send any piece of worthless junk thereby maintaining membership status.

OK, I agree, however, it's not that difficult to filter out the very obvious fraud. One easy way could be not to allow any copyright infringements on home pages.

Maurice I think that you may have misunderstood the post made by Wilhelm.

Of course you can buy legitimate foreign brand name product in China - BUT ONLY FROM LICENCED RE-SELLERS OF THE BRAND NAME PRODUCT - which in the case of China means retail sale. But why would a foreign buyer buy at retail prices in China, pay for freight back to his or her own country? That would not make sense.

The reality is of course that foreign buyers look to China for these products as they think that they can buy direct from the supplier at really cheap prices. No one can buy brand name products from the supplier unless they are a licenced distributor of that brand name. And this is the point that we are making when we say that you cannot buy legitimate foreign brand name items in China.

There are of course Chinese brand names that can be purchased legitimately direct from the suppliers in China but often these brand names are not famous outside of China so the name means nothing to foreign buyers.

Then of course there are non-branded products that buyers can either put their name on or sell un-branded. This is where the money is to be made when buying electronics in China.

Let's not confuse the fact that if you try to buy famous foreign brand name product in China then you will not get what you are paying for.
