Hello my name is Richard and I live in South Carolina, USA. I did some business with a company name Fujian Putian Chengxiang Pide Trade Co., Ltd a couple of weeks ago. I spoke to a sales representative about ordering a SONY FWD-50PX1 which was suppose to be 50 inches. The price we agreed on was 800usd for 1 which was going to be a sample order. The payment arrangement I made with the sales representative was for me to send 500usd to:

first name :qiang
last name:Chen
ADDESS:. Putian City, Fujian Province. China

using western union and when I receive the product I would send the balance of 300usd. I kept my part of the bargain and the TV that I ordered took forever to get here. When the TV finally arrived it was nothing like I ordered. The size that came was 15inch and it said TV/LCD Monitor on the box. I have been trying to get in contact with someone to fix the problem but everyone seems to be avoiding me. If this company is on Alibaba.com to cheat people out of their money then it should and will be reported. The TV I received is for a European market and I have to buy an adapter to connect it to the cable. I was willing to keep the 15inch and pay the difference in cost to get my original order for the SONY FWD-50PX1 50inch. God is always watching so if there are other companies out there to cheat people he will know. Thanks for your time.

Replying to [trying]: Why in heaven's sake did you try to buy a Sony 50" from China. There's a seller in the U.S. Selling the SONY KDS-50A2020 50" Grand WEGA SXRD Rear Projection HDTV for $1150.00 with free shipping. IM still amazed by the people that think they can buy a few items cheaper in China and have them delivered to the U.S. cheaper. Do you even realize that once you go over 2000.00USD on an import you have to pay the tax. For 15" monitors you could have purchased 5 and sent via express from good suppliers in Taiwan. Not name brand.

Replying to [trying]:You don't have to justify yourself or your thought processes to these clowns... we all know nothing is made in the USA anymore... and obviously distributors here get them from somewhere else, you were trying your luck... good thing they're not cannibals...

Replying to [trying]:[em6] I am so upset that I didn't read this before I had my boss send the money for a sample order. After the funds where sent, I had to nag them to get a tracking # and the tracking that was given won't pull anything any where. But I wanted to see if they where just not getting my emails so I sent a email requesting a laptop quote they returned my email within 2 min. but wouldn't return my emails when I asked if the TV was shipped. I will start searching companies before I put my job on the line paying for false samples. Now I have to pay my boss what she paid and will only get a refund if and when the TV shows up.

I hope that I am not another graduate of the school of hard knocks, but I too have made a purchase from this company. I did not do my research, but since then I have found some more promising Chinese sources. I purchased 5 televisions to be drop-shipped to various sources throughout the World. I got 5 tracking numbers and as of today (3/23/08) they don't return anything and this is the 4th day. I am hoping and praying that the televisions will be delivered, but this week should tell. What made it so bad is that these televisions were sold on eBay using PayPal. Need I say more?
