The fact of the matter is Indian film industry copied the concept and form of the older version of traditional drama , which is full of songs rather than dialog. Of course over the years the no.of songs have come down. As there is limited alternative viability for music albums/video in our country, the film songs fill the space. I am happy to learn that it entertains you too.
