Various types of music and dances are deeply rooted in Indian culture and performed during most auspicious and happier occasions.

It is like adding spices to the dish and works effectively. Of-course there are art movies also without all this stuff but these films usually don't make much on box office.

India commercial cinema usually have all this stuff to do well financially.

Dancing is a must for every actor/ actress to survive in this industry. There are many schools and professionals to train them and the new comers.

Singing is performed by playback singers and recorded separately. Afterwards the artists performs on the songs and do lipsync. Sometimes a few of the artists sing their songs themselves during recording.

Haha, I started to love Indian films when I was young.
I saw two Indian films which I still remain fresh in my memory, there are many crocodiles in the first movie, and in the other movie, there is a king of the snake.
