Replying to [Admin]: "Hong Kong, I like Hong Kong, we are here for you" is a slogan that has been used by Hong Kong Travel and Tourist Agency for quite a while. From that slogan you can get a gist of the Hong Kong culture.
Hong Kong is an unmatchable city in the world. The Hong Kong stock market is world famous. I myself has considerable money invested in the Hong Kong stock market.
And there are so many so many world famous trading companies (e.g. Li & Fung) and factories (e.g. Sunrise) and real estate development companies owned by Hong Kong people and have headquareters in Hong Kong.
Hong Kong is the city I borned in and I also have a trading post in Hong Kong.
It's a city without equal. Everyone works hard at wages far below those of American and Japanese and with efficiency far exceeds most cities in the world.
When you are walking in Hong Kong you will feel like everyone is racing with time. Yes they are, even when they are resting. When they are working, they are thinking about how to find a better employment. When they are resting, they are discussing as to what business opportunities are opened to them and which stock in the stock market to buy.
Although the mother tone is Cantonese and the official lanuage is Mandarin. English language is a compulsory suject in junior school and sencondary school, and also compulsory in most unversities.
In terms of economics, it's also without equal. Hong Kong is still the biggest trading cities in South East Asia. For the years, the Toy exhibition, the gift exhibition, electronics fair, etc... has attracted millions of people to come to Hong kong to trade.
In terms of stability, Hong Kong is by far the safest city to trade in the world with the crime rate far lower than any city in China. That's why most factories althrough the production facilities are in mainland china choose to have the main office in Hong Kong.
Hong Kong will play an important role in trading for the years to come and I am proud of the city that I was born in.

Replying to [santahw050]: yes, life goes without equal anywhere. the question is how u value this kind of life and how u proceed with ur life. to be, or not to be, that is the question.
