Taking care an order is more difficult than getting an order
Post 1 of 13

Now i have two customers' orders to take care. One is a try order that i got 20 days ago,and the delivery time is Nov.18th, another customer's orders have 7orders now(one of my colleague change to onther deparment so he gives his customer to me).

After i taking care the two customers,i find that i have much things to do and so multifarious!! the try order is much better,i just care the materials and go to different departments to remind the workers that it is time to do my order time and time.

But the other customer, it is Janpan company, very care the quality and delivery time ,when they receipt our products,we will receive many questions and feedbacks from them,so i have to check and clear up their questions ... [em4]

Sometimes they will ask some leather and wooden samples, so many colours and different materials, our company no special people to do this ,so i have to make the samples myself.
[em8]

I am  looking forward the delivery time for it means that the right order is finished, but i also afraid the delivery time for it means that i will wait to receive many questions and feedbacks !!

[em2] Totally agree with you!
I need to take care of the production and the delivery time myself too.
And sometimes it will drive my crazy! Luckily, all my customers are very kind and considerate.[em3]

Replying to [gigi -freeroom furniture ]: Gigi, you are complaining about things to do which I (as a buyer) would expect you to do. That is not a very good promotion for yourself. The task you describe is your job, and your customer has the right to get it solved from you. So go ahead and do your job. If he is asking for wood or leather samples, which you do not have: that should have been check before he placed the order, so I do not understand that point. If he orders some furniture with you, you should have something in written where the type of wood and leather is specified. If you did not clarify that before, again: your mistake.

thanks for your reply.usually we have normal leather samples and wood samples to post to our client, but this Janpan client want the samples for their shop sales,so the quantity is a little big and the colours are mulriple,so i had to prepare myself( i have no the mean to complain).
but frankly,i am glad to meet that client, they are serious but let me learn more ...maybe more questions will encounter later, but i will try my best to do it.
