I want to know what exactly is the meaning of Khun, It is beaing told while greeting or addressing a person. is the same meant for Dear or something else.

For your information Khun in hindi is "Blood"

Khun is in Thai comparable with Mr., Mrs or Miss !

It is also used when thanking someone !

Kob Khun Krab, Thank you (If speaker is male).
Kob Khun Ka, Thank you (If speaker is female)

In German you will not find it !
