for me, fair only increase prices and good business for Hotels!

Hello there,

The way I work. If I dont know what I am looking for, or don´t know the market area well, or am looking for a new product, then I always go to a fair.

In a fair, its obviouse the prices are way to high, but what you get is ideas, and get to see the products in action. Once I have found my product, I try to get samples and all kinds of brochures and information.

Now the challenge starts, after having narrowed down my search, I go to the market, since now I know the price of the product, which I want, I would want to find a cheaper version of it, to better conditions.
Basically I call it price hunting, the market is the ideal place to do that. The market can always beat the fair, with prices and volume of products, but only if you know what you are doing.


The Fair, helps you to narrow down your search, and possibly find a market gap, but also helps you to get new ideas.

If used well, you can have a very helpfull combination of both.
