Exhibitation sales and online sales, which one is better?

As we know, exhibitation sales and online sales are 2 main ways to trade. But which one is better?

Exhibitation sales is still pretty importance for medium-sized and large-sized company, and exhibitation can attract a large number of foreign merchants. What's the terrible problem is the cost of exhibitation increase faster and faster, so many small-sized company lost opportunity to join in cause of expenses.

Online sales is a new type trade which gets developing in 21th century. The cost of trading is cheaper by internet, and it doesn't have area limited to trade. But the serious problem is so many swindlers from internet, and we can't trust any one sometimes.

So I am still confused by these 2 ways of trading, in your mind, which one is better?

Replying to [yufang]:In most situations ,exhibition gives a real picture.but online trade can last longer ,I mean your products can be shown for a longer time on the net.you can not show all the products for one year in an exhibition.To a large extend,exhibition can offer more chance for both the buyers and the sellers.Once the buyer has found a supplier online .he or she will have to cost a bit to investigate the every aspect of the supplier,such as the financial standing ,trust and etc.Every coin has two sides,exhibition does give a real picture ,but it can not last long ,unless you attend every trade exhibition .
To sum up ,the two ways for trading are of great importance.

Replying to [yufang]: I agree with the idea from Little friends.
But usually it is diffcult for one company to deal with the 2 ways woderfully, once they attend the exhibitation and pay a lot on that, they will not pay much attention on online sales, though they can recieve many inquiries, in fact they donot have enough time to reply and put them aside.[em8]

Replying to [yufang]:i think thry are both good ways to do business, while for the little company, i think the online will be much better, it's cheap and also can cover some inferior , such as the little scale of the factory and the office, the small quantity of the staffs, etc. while for the big company, the exibition will be much better, it can display the ability of the company and also it can meet the big order requirement.and it will promote the company faster.

As for the two sales, i prefer to the exhibitation sales.
You must know it will take a long time to develop a new customer from the net. It will take a long time for you to let them trust you because the net is shadowy.

Replying to [yufang]:maybe it's hard to distinguish whether any scale company should attend Exhibitation or Fair ,and we can say there does not mean it good just for attending them .
online sale is currently way of international marketing for their products,but even that does not stand for effective method.
so i think the better one depends on what marketing your products existed.
