They say its hard to sell, I said its hard to buy!
Post 1 of 128
my job is import foreign products to China and sell them.but it seems difficult to buy from foreign company! everytime i send mail to them who trade or manufacture the products we need, but no response. arenot they check mail in foreign company?

then i give call to tell them i wanna buy from them and hope that they can offer me some details, they promise mail to me but no response still. maybe they treat me as a scammer or others(busy,no-duty?).

what can i do for it? i think sometimes buy is harder than sale!

I can't agree with Mr davsap from Singapore more.

By making deals through internet, we should make confidence with each other first of all. If you just tell a manufacture that you have interests in their products, you couldn't receive any effective response because of the numerous products and nonconfidence.

Then thanks Mr Davsap that I learn a lot from his lesson.

Maybe many suppliers would think you as fraud since there are so many fraud in this site. This is very natural.Don't be dissapointed.
You should make assured of foreign company that your company wants to buy. What do you import? If i can help you, then will reply to you.

Replying to [mahao]:[em4] In the short time that I have been here I have received twice as many scam offers as real offers. I believe that the scam offers that ae so abundant are causing users to be wary of making new contacts. This is sad because we are all there to trade. I would welcome all legimate new contacts an leads.

Replying to [mahao]:Actually I think what you said is a fact in some aspects. But mabe we should source more suppliers through more channels, especially some internet website of their own.

Nearly all unsolicited emails coming from China are junk, Mahao. I suspect that much of your email inquiries are not making it to the seller.

I am going to give you the same suggestion that I tell buyers: send a fax. that shows you are seriously interested, plus, while an assistant may be screening emails and deleting them, that same assistant will hand-carry a fax directly to the person it's addressed to without question. I hope this helps you.
