How to behave in front of our foreign client? ( new hires)
Post 1 of 2
Hello !there
It is very important for us to have a good impression on our foreign clients. But I think it very hard for a new hire to do that .As a new hire ,who does not have any work experience ,may not know how to behave well in front of their foreign clients. In fact ,I used to have encountered this problem.Especially ,in our negotiation. It seemed that we had a bit language barrer. It is true that different countries speak different English. That was not a problem, but I did not master any negotiating skills. After that ,I failed to have a deal with that client. He insisted that they can buy the cutting macines from other factories ,if we do not offer them our best price.we did give them our best price. At last ,he became other's client.ok ,it did not matter too much .but I still need to know how to behave ,negotiate formally in front of our foreign clients.can anybody help me ? thanks

Replying to [little friend]:
dear little friend. I would like to propose, that you should impress your client with knowledge and competence. Try to get as much information about your client as possible, and about your competitors. Not only the best price is of significance. The best price combined with high quality and a very good service (support) is the basis for a good client relationship. The perfect deal is only the first step into a long term relationship. I wish success
