Which is the cheaper air conditioner in the long run?

I want to cool a small room in a trailer, is it cheaper in the long run to have more BTU's than you need so that the Air Conditioner runs less frequently or a lower BTU where the Air Conditioner runs more frequently.I am assuming that the larger Air Conditioner uses more power. Anybody know to calculate this? Thanks

so if you had a bigger one it would come on less frequently and wouldn't waste more power to get itself cool."
