Sellers of **** goods 19 replies,5986 views

What can one do here with sellers who claim an item is genuine, then ship you **** merchandise? In my case, I ordered $3000 worth genuine Epson and Canon cartridges. When they arrived here, they were not genuine, but clones. They did say on the packaging, "made ny Canon", and "made by Epson". I sent several items to Epson and Canon for verification, and indeed, they were confirmed as being fakes. This seller, who has "Gold" status here, cannot be trusted, and will not give me my money back. Any suggestions as to what to do?

Anyone else here had this problem? I'd like to hear from you.

Thanks

Ofcourse Epson and Canon always said it's **** because they want youto buy directed from them even the products you bought is100 Genuine. To me as long the cartridges working good, ink not dry what do you care.

Re: Sellers of **** goods
the reasoning in not wanting fakes is that when you resell to the customer you are not lying to them and here in uk it is illegal to sell such items.

not caring wether they are fakes show the inscrutability of people i would not like to trade with.

fake goods falsely sold by suppliers who should know better.

if they lie in the their descriptions then they are probably lying about everything is my interpretation.and are not trustworthy traders.

if they sell fakes, they should state "fakes".

Typical attitude. Why do you feel we should not get what we asked for? Why should we be lied to? Why should we have to go through all this stress just because suppliers do not care. I hope they go bust!!

I'm with forx on this one. They should own up to their responsibilties and refund at their own expense. I think it's about time smaller UK companies joined forces against these uncaring couldn't care less attitude of overseas suppliers.

What about joining up to create a large buying company, and see the sorry face on these useless people who think they can treat smaller companies how they want.

Replying to [ISZA]:sorry to hear that.maybe you can litigate him.let him got what he deserve.
and you can learn from it that you never trust easily with any seller or buyer just for his "GOLD" status.you know,NOT ALL TRUST-MEMBER ARE TRUST-WORTHY,THE ONLY THING YOU CAN BELIEVE IN IS YOURSELF.

I find many complaints from the buyers, stateing that we got inferior goods, suplicate, fake & etc

For everything there is a company, distributor and authorised people to deal

For every "branded good comapnies" in any field.. computor, electronic, apparel etc., you can find the website and other details.

You can get the price, warranty & etc details
Knowing this without knowing this, people are very eager to get products at very low price but the branded..so you are get into trouble

Re: Re: Sellers of **** goods
When purchasing branded items from abroad (especially China) take a moment to think who you are dealing with. If they company represents themselves as the legal manufacturer of that brand their items are most likely branded **** versions of the goods. Manufacturers like Apple (yes, I know there are many people attempt to procure iPods from China for resell on eBay) keep a tight grasp on their manufacturing process. In some circumstances, if they are a reseller the item can be authentic and they could be bulk purchases or cross-sellers.

Re: Sellers of counterfeit goods
I wouldnt worry about purchasing unauthorized items (made by same factory) as I would clones (duplicates made by a factory other than authorized)

People, people. You're buying from suppliers from way across the globes. Distances way to long for local or federal laws to take effect. The best law to follow I say is the law for "self preservation". STOP! sending suppliers money for products you've never laid eyes on, products you've never been able to test yourselves. And especially, if you've never even met the supplier, at least give them a call, and see where there communication skills are at. That's enough to let you know whether or not there going to provide you with halfway decent customer service. Dont allow yourselves to be disillusioned folks. Trust know one, but your own eyes, ears, and your own "hands-on" demonstration of the products you intend to buy from overseas buyers.
