ANY company or buyer if thinks that african are fool and do not know world market rates are fool themselves.

it is share stupidity with greed that forces buyers to listen and agree to african sellers who offer really extremly low prices to attract and demand 10% minimum advance,many send fake papers but mostly offer you that you visit first and see your self copper cathodes .

buyer with greed to become millioner over night visittanzania.received well at air port,next day they take him to his ofice in a brand new mercedez or toyota land cruiser,all rented one,

there they talk and then explain that goods have just arrived and are at railway station,take you there,there is a train full of copper,ask you to take pictures and you do.

now you are satisfied and then they sign contract and want money to get this copper transfered to your name and ask first us$10000.00
and you happily pay,a receipt is produced,next day they bring receipt from the government export department and you accept it as genuine/
now they demand 10%sothat sgs inspection,fee to government departments like export fee and transit fee etc and you pay 10%
and after about 8/10 days ,all times meeting you and explaining that goods are being checked by sgs etc loaded.

they bring again sgs certificates and b/l copies that goods are shipped and to cleat remaining expensis they fleece you as mush they can think you will pay.

now you send all these documents to your office and then wait and it transoired that there was no such ship for your destination or all container numbers were loaded at some early destination as it was not yours and now you search and search,in vain and go to police and they show you a list ofcheaters and there you find their names as well and police demands some money for purchasing gasoline for their trasports to trace them .you pay many time ,nothing happens and you leave.
this is what happened with us and we lost us$300000.00 and now we have their receipts only and pictures of cheaters and office pictures.

MY EXPERIENCE as then i remained in tanzania for 5 months and
it transpired that 99.99% offers are all cheats ,there is no copper from any private source and what we saw at railway station was belongingto a mine in congo which is member of LME and sending goods for shipment to tanzania and railway people were bribed to
let us visit and take pictures.

MAY BE YOU THINK YOU ARESMART and may be you are but one advice is do not pay any money unless you take papers yourself
without them to the concerned authorities and get them checked.
similarly ask sgs ,visit them and discuss.

YOU WILL BE LUCKY OUT OF ONE MILLION TO GET COPPER.
