What is the different of crafts between the China and India

There have many crafts be made in China, and also include some India origin or other countrys, there have so much copy crafts in the market...and I plan to open a especial gift shop, the aim goods is the handcrafts from other country, and I hope it's original...but I have no idea about the different between the China and India

The basic and important difference betwen Chinese crafts and Indian crafts is that the typical Indian crafts are HANDMADE whether it is Indian artistic furnitures or marble items or fabrics or jewellary - artificial or precious or wooden or brassware gift items etc. etc. That is why Indian crafts are known as Handicrafts.
In different states of India, different varities of Handicrafts are availble which have local native flavours also. They are not made in bulk or huge quantities. There are no big sized formal factories with latest computerized equipments for making handicrafts in India rather they are made in villages, small towns and majoritry of the people of the village or town are involved in that activities.
Wheras in China, as we have heard that all crafts items are machine made and are made in big automated factories.
