It depends if the seller keeps changing promises towards a positive result or negative result. Most honest people will try to have the best terms set up for the transaction, best thing to do prior of entering into a transaction with the buyer, is to ask the seller what are the available options for this deals, so you know forehand, and see what option would benefit the three parties the best.
