I feel sorry for this buyer. I believe she was scammed by her own people. She was not scammed by my company.
If she had come to our warehouse to inspect the merchandise (as I had told her many times) she would have seen that the merchandise she describes as having been sent could not have come from our warehouse. She said she was too busy to come to our warehouse
This buyer wasn't there in Africa when the container was unloaded. She did not see what we sent her. She was naive to think that she could ship merchandise to a country that has very significant problems with thievery and fraud and not be there when her container was unloaded. Her partners showed her clothing but it was not ours. This happens to many USA buyers who have relatives and partners in Africa
As I said I feel sorry for this woman. As she said she is new to business. She should have come to our warehouse to inspect the clothing and she should have been there when the container was unloaded.
Our company in no way defrauded her.
We sent all Grade A merchandise to this buyer. It was all summer weight. We asked this person NUMEROUS times to come and inspect clothing at our warehouse before purchase.
We are not going to comment further on this matter.
