Why the customer don't give me any communication details?
Post 1 of 17
There is a guy inquired via trademanager, but I can't find any communication details about he and his company. Company name, address, tel&fax, website....
We chat on the trademanager, he said that's his company's rule, don't give any communication details to the suppliers unless they cooperated. But I never encountered this situation. I think maybe he is a soho, or one of our competitor. So I didn't quote for him. I just want to know more about him then decide whether or not quote for him.
Today he asked for my price list again, but I don't want to give him our price, coz I think he is not sincerely,
Am I right?? It is reasonable the customer don't give us any detail about them??

Dont bother with the guy, if his company has policy not to reveal details than you should tell him that your company has its own policy not to disclose anything until you know what company you are dealing with.

Keep away from the company, he has no sincere at all!!! The company can keep its contact information closed to avoid disturbing from the supplier. But at least the guy should keep the company name and website open to be known by the supplier!!

Replying to [Lanjin]:Chinese motto: If you believe him, let him do; If you don't believe him, don't use him. As your case, you don't trust him, so don't give him quote.

Long term business relationship is built based on mutual trust and honesty. It's true that some of the buyers are not serious enough, they are just 'stealing' your price information....just forget any serious business partner, it's a waste of time!
