The mailing cost of the sample, who pay for it?

Replying to [parvez]:
if the mailing cost is not so high,it is better to post it for them free.
so they can trust you better and will be interested in working with you more than the other suppliers.

Cost of sample should be part seller cost - is a part of a potential business. If you can´t afford sending a sample, you can´t afford being in an export business.

Yes,if the nuyer is serious abt ur products and visualizes that if he/she buys the products and have the capabilities and mktg, then the buyer will never opt for choices and will order for samples for their trial and physical evaluations bearing all the cost.
The other type of buyers are that they will provide u their international courier account number with a copy to their logistic company to collect the samples from the mfr.
The third type of buyers are who will never give u the cost or freight for the samples and insists on providing him the samples. This third type of buyers are not serious buyers they have the tendency to take free things and fool the mfr.
It is our long experiences as a mfr exporters. We used to provide free samples to their destination, the acknowledge the reciept of the samples, report u abt their satisfactions of the quality and provide assurances of buying it immly BUT nothing happens. So we changed our policies and started requesting to buy the sample kit or provide us the international courier account number. This helped us lot and our list of serious buyers increased and opened many distribution network globally for our products and we are a satisfied manufacturer.
My advice is to ask the buyer for their courier account number as ur offering them FREE SAMPLES of ur products, secondly u take the sample cost. You should know the authencity of the buyer,in this matter ur experiences will count for jugdement.BEWARE OF SPAMMERS & FRADULANT BUYERS.
Thirdly to promote more abt ur products and company become paid members of trusted search engines like alibaba yahoo msn yellow pages etc and relevant industries sites and also connected trade magazines.By being paid members ur always benefitted in many ways.
Fourthly dont neglect small buyers offers they are the stepping stones. If we dont care then who are going to cooperate them bcoz they also need ur support.Think in other way as once ur were also small manufacturer.Live and let live others with mutual cooperations.
Wishing u all a merry happiest Christmas Prosperity Peace Love Health and Cheerful Smile.

Should We send them Sample proactively when buyers express
interest of our products?
A sample means more than describing your product/promote them online via communication!

Sample Hunter is a good term to describe those what are searching around for samples without paying a penny.
