Replying to [Chen Yinghan]: Yes i heard the same from one of my Kalimantan suppliers. THey also said that it once took more than 3 months to get their L/C at sight paid by India Bank.
We are trying to do a deal with the Kalimantan supplier and an Indian buyer but the Kalimantan supplier/mine owner does not want to go through all of the problems he had in the past with India bank and buyer.
Problem now is that the seller only wants India buyer to issue L/C from one of 50 top world banks but Indian buyer only wants to issue L/C from either INDUSIND bank or YES Bank or SBI Bank all from India.
So, due to seller experience in the past he only wants L/C from top 50 World prime banks.
Has anyone else had this same experience or could help shed some light on this for me...seems like a rock and a hard place

thank you
