Today, I get a news from the dinner with my friends (they are sales all).
one guy change work from A company to B company last year, and he don't tell his customer who seems big buyer from company A, they had cooperated two year when he left the A company..Till to now, this guy don't tell the customer he change the company, he still to get the order as A company from the customer......
but now, the customer maybe know the truth from the new sales of A company...because the A company new sales had call them for check...
then the customer dont contact this guy now....
PS: A company is a trade company, they are not real factory
B company is factory.
and this guy is very dysphoric..he dont know how to deal with this situation now....
He worried,
1.if he tell the truth, maybe will lose this customer for his rascal doing...but to tell truth is justicial action for the customer...
2.if he don't tell the truth, he is fell so sorry.
and the other friends said, he dont do anything, just wait, becuase the guy will hurl himself willingly into the net, if the customer dont know it....anyway if the customer will give order to him again, that means everything will ok, and the customer dont know the truth, and if no order, just give up this customer...
In my oppinion is.. when the customer had know the truth, if he still to cover it, that will unuseful for the future cooperation....I think that is better that he admit his wrong doing, and serious say sorry to the customer...but he is afraid lost this big buyer...so....
we dont have a good decision in the dinner table....and I know ali have large good and informative people, so I hope can get some fresh advice...thanks!
I think factory can always provided a better price than trading company, mostly it is yours. but Mutual trust takes mutual benefits.

there are 3 things
1- if the new company deal with the same product, so he and the former company have to go to hill.
2- If the new company do not deal with the same product, so he can continue making deals but not in the time of work of the new company.
3- He have to tell the customer with the truth but with kind way
( i moved to a new company but i can cover your orders with the formed company) and give him a letter with agreement of his formed company to continue dealing with his customer
that will give more trust and in the same time he can offer the products of the new company to his customer who know 2 is better than 1
trust makes good business and good long term relations and honesy give the trust.
